2 Feature wishlist
3 Here are a couple of features that I have plans to add or would like to add in future updates to MySQLinks.
4 If you have an idea for a feature or a way in which MySQLinks could be improved, share it with us on the discussion list or contact us directly when you visit the MySQLinks website.
5

6

7
Importing of links
The next main thing I want to add is the ability to import links from the file generated when you use the Export/Backup function on the Admin page. The benefits of this are two-fold: if something happens to the webserver where MySQLinks is running and all information is lost, it can easily be restored; and secondly, users could give their links lists to other users to kick-start or embellish their own MySQLinks.

8
Favicon support
I haven't really explored the feasibility of this, or what it would involve, past a few vague ideas in the back of my head. I thought it would be good to be able to download the favicon for a site, if it has one, which could be displayed next to the link on each of the category pages. This is probably not a high priority feature.

9
More options for MySQLinc
I'd like to add more options and functionality to the MySQLinc function so that you can do things like share your links on a site that's different from the one where you have MySQLinks installed; and I am also planning on investigating alternatives to the PHP code for sharing, such as Javascript, perhaps.

10
Active category persistence
This would be a feature whereby if you clicked on a category name in MySQLinks, this would then become your 'active' category, and each time you returned to your MySQLinks homepage, this category would be displayed instead of your default category, until you clicked on another category and made it the active category or the 'Main' link which would remove any memory of an active category so that your default category would be displayed again.
requested by Melanie

11

12

13 <a href="<?php echo $mysqvars['url']; ?>help.php">Return to Help, or go to main <a href="<?php echo $mysqvars['url']; ?>">MySQLinks page.
14
